Capitol Hill Townhouse

This late 19th Century Washington, D.C. townhouse, just steps from the U.S. Capitol, was originally the home to sculptor William McCauslen, known for creating the official busts for three U.S. Vice Presidents.

When our clients acquired the property as a secondary residence, they had a clear objective to create luxurious and welcoming spaces ideal for entertaining and fundraising.

A significant renovation and redecoration resulted in a timeless, refined and elegant design – perfectly suited to the home’s storied past and its sophisticated new purpose.
